Betty J. Taub

When I was 11, my family moved down the street from the Taub’s. Sheryl and I became friends and Betty became somewhat of a second mother to me. Whenever I “ran” away, it was always to the Taub’s. Over the years, I had the privilege of getting to know and care about Betty. She was a great lady and an awesome mother. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was such a bit part of their lives. Even though I haven’t seen her in a few years, I have great memories of her.
She is Loved and will be missed.

I first met Beetsy when I started at Indak Mfg back in 1989 and until I retired in 2012 we became good friends. After retirement she, Gene and I would meet for lunch maybe once a month. Others joined us and we became the ‘lunch buddies’ meeting once a month on a Tuesday at 12:30 pm.
She talked/bragged about her family and I feel like I knew all of you personally. I will miss her very much.

Very sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I have good memories of you talking about the joy you had with your family growing up, and know this must be hard. I miss the days when we played flag football and watched DePaul and Bradley basketball games. Hope life is treating you well.
