Sally F. Prager

I met Sally 30 odd years ago and have stayed in touch with her and her family the entire time. She was my travel agent among other things and helped me with all sorts of trips, business and personal, all over the world. Great conversations with her and with Arnold, I’ll miss them both.

First, thank you to Merril and Howard for having a live stream of Mrs. Prager’s service — it was an honor to attend via the live stream in her memory.

As Merril’s college friend & suite mate, I was invited to join the Pragers for Thanksgiving my freshman year — the 1st holiday I was away from my family. Honestly, I was feeling a little uneasy and far from home that fall. But, the Pragers were so warm and welcoming, I felt no loneliness or distance from my family with them — only their warmth. Mrs. Prager made sure everyone was included, happy, and well fed. Every time I visited was the same. Mr. & Mrs. Prager were so warm and welcoming, so interested in everything, and made me feel so much at home. It’s been a blessing and an honor to know them both.

I have fond memories of Howard’s mother. I would see her at many Northwestern events. Howard included her in everything he did. (She reminded me of my mother who passed earlier this year at 95 who came to many of the same events.) Howard was a very devoted son. I’m sure the whole family has many fond memories of Mrs. Prager. She will be missed. Our heartfelt condolences from Gary & Marilyn

I met your parents for the first time when they were in LA. We had breakfast together and I was 8 months pregnant. A memory I will never forget. Our short time together was so nice.
