Dr. Sherwin Strauss, age 87, beloved husband of Ellen Strauss (nee Berolzheimer), loving father of Roy (Melinda), Lee “Lavey” (Smadar), Dale (Debby), and Jay (Stacy) Strauss and the late Debbie (Jim) Bohmbach; cherished Grandpa of sixteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; dear brother of Gloria (the late Jerry) Goldberg and the late Jerome Strauss; treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ark of Chicago, www.arkchicago.org or the Cancer Wellness Center, www.cancerwellness.org. Private graveside service. Every dentist I’ve seen since Dr. Strauss has been amazed by the quality of work he did, especially since much of it was done in the mid 1990’s! Extremely charming and meticulously professional, a true master in his field. I’m so sorry for your loss.
