Irving Drobny

I just learned of Mr. Drobny’s passing and I’m saddened by the loss. He was such a kind man, and always a good boss. He loved his family so very much. My sincere condolences to Arlene and the family. May your memories of him be a blessing.

So sad to hear about this. Mr. Drobny hired me when I was just 16 through a work program and I have the most amazing memories and best experiences at the firm. I learned so much. He was a great man and will be missed.

Irv & I know each other since we were 5 yrs old. One memory is after I moved to Florida, when I’d come to Chgo, we’d go down to Wrigley and watch our CUBBIES play all.

I remember when I first started dating Les and he introduced me to everyone, Irv & Arlenie were my immediate favorites. Irv & I would always crack jokes. I always loved talking to Irv regarding politics. He loved it. His views educated me. He had friends on both sides & shared their views with me. I also remember his love for Judaism. We talked about that too…. I loved hearing Les & Irv share fun stories of their beloved West Side! IRV knew everyone & I got a kick out of that. Such a personality, such a love of his beloved faith, CUBBIES and especially his children, grandchildren & Arlenie! What a true MENSCH. You are already so missed!
