Obituary

Whitney Brooke Mayster O’Connell, passed away May 6, 2021. She was the loving daughter of Lynda and Larry Mayster; wife of Patrick John O’Connell; caring and devoted sister to Courtney Mayster, Janice Kellman (Gordone Kasper) and Andrea Levin; great, loving, fun-filled aunt to Lindsey (Matthew) Gruenberg, Mitchell Kellman and Jaycee Levin as well as a beloved niece and cousin to many. Whitney was a star athlete at the Chicago Latin School and a graduate of Emory University. She was a practicing attorney having graduated from John Marshall Law School. Whitney was exactly Whitney. She was cutting edge and had a radiant smile with a sharp rapier wit. She will be missed by many dear friends, family and colleagues as well as her favorite dogs; Maybel, Maxx and Winston.
