Marlene Sue Levin

Marlene Sue Levin, nee Gerson, 91, beloved wife of the late Dr. Jordon Levin; loving mother of Ronda Levin (Cecil Harrold) and Taryn (Scott) Goldstein; cherished Nonnie of Brandyn Perez, Briana LoBosco, Ryan Perez, Tyler Goldstein (Shelby, fiancée) and Jason Goldstein; adoring GG to Christopher Jordon and fond mother-in-law of Javier Perez. She was a devoted daughter of the late Henrietta and Joseph Gerson; dear sister of Sharon (Marvin) Ball, the late Selwyn (the late Gloria) Gerson and sister-in-law of the late Eleanor (the late Jack) Springer; treasured aunt, cousin and friend of many, including special friend to caregiver Tina. Marlene met her beloved Jordon while attending Roosevelt University and went on to earn a Masters in Education from National Louis College. For most of her career she taught the perceptually disabled in Evanston district 65, where she worked for over 20 years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rolfe Pancreatic Cancer Foundation or to a charity of your choice. Due to Covid and out of concern for family and friends, the funeral service and Shiva will be private.
