Obituary
Rose Gassel, (nee Starkston) age 94, beloved wife and best friend for 65 years to the late Seymour Gassel; devoted and loving mother of Alan (Wendy), Larry (Betty) and the late Steven Gassel; cherished grandmother “Nana” of Elisa (Travis), Haley, and Sophia and great grandmother of Lilly; adored daughter of the late Abraham and Jenny Starkston, loving sister of the late Morris (Becky), fond Aunt, cousin, and friend of many. Special thanks to her amazing caregivers, Esther and Roger Borders and her Dr. David Kanarek, who through unmatched devotion and commitment, extended the quality and quantity of Roses’ life. Rose shared the joy of family and will be dearly missed; she and the foundation of love and devotion she provided will always be in our hearts.
