I had the chance to meet him once. He was a kind man. He was very similar to my grandfather Mahmoud. I have good memories of meeting him. May God have mercy on his soul.
My condolences to his family and friends.

My parents were good friends with Oscar (and Marion) and family. He and my dad Manny would play backgammon (a board game) for hours. We would know who won when they would scream and roar when the game was over.
I also remember one summer evening after my parents put my sister and I to bed, we were woken up about 20 minutes later saying we are going bike riding with the Behzad’s. Then afterwards we got ice cream cones at Dairy Queen.
Also one year all of us kids would make a Halloween haunted house in there basement and my sister Lisa and Anna’s sister Lisa accidentally started a fire in the basement. Oscar was really mad.
I also liked listening to Oscar’s stories from his work. He was really interesting, funny and a very intelligent man. He will be missed.
May God bless him and his family. Much love Annette Haskell
