Karen, Sending thoughts of peace and healing to You and to Ken’s family. I wish you good memories of happy times you had with your brother. The funeral service made it apparent Ken was a special man. Certainly, he will be missed. Sending you hugs! Eydee

Ken,
It was so nice getting to know you for all of those great networking events I met you at, or helping me polish my 30 second pitch to my peers. You always had a great sense of humor and overall just an amazing guy. Even with all the challenges you had you always showed up. We will miss you. My condolences to you and your family during this difficult time.

There is no real epitaph to expound ones love and respect when your BFF passes on. It’s personal.
When we lose someone so dear and needed, there is no real epitaph. There is only sadness that bellows our hearts and souls for that incredible person who lives on in our memories.
A verse of a song, a street sign, the sound of a laugh, the finest restaurant in the shadows…they all bring him back to me.
My dear dear Ken, you’re joy of life was and still is infectious. Though you are relieved of the suffering and pain…your God still commands you to continue to touch all those you touched.

Ken thank you for being a friend and teaching me so much about the stone industry. Ken would always tell me to answer my phone and give the estimate right away. Ken also shared with me other great life lessons that I still use today with my family, such as “firm but fair” or make time to go on vacation. Ken you are great man, and you will be truly missed, your stories and memories you’ve shared will live on forever!

I have had the honor of knowing Ken for the last several years. The first thing Ken would ask is what can I do FOR YOU. I will always remember when Ken, Denise and the entire family drove up to Racine to celebrate Chanukah with my congregation, Beth Israel Sinai, where I officiate as Rabbi. Despite his illnesses, he always maintained a positive attitude This attitude will serve as an lesson to all of us to value each day of our lives.

Having known Ken for only a few years- it was an amazing adventure. he made our various networking groups so enjoyable. He became a mentor to all of us. His experiences were shared with us and we always learned from him. His knowledge will stay with us- the use of his clever slogans- lets get stoned!!
He will be missed greatly. I extend our sincere condolences to his family and all the people he touched.

Too Much to say! Ken was my go to on many subjects. No one had more knowledge than Kenny. I just asked him, why he gave Susan & I an inflatable boat as a wedding gift. It was the only question I ever asked him that he said I do not know? He knew everything about so many subjects. Kenny was very unique.

Wow- Where to begin. I met Ken, I don’t remember when, but, I do remember the impact he made on me right from the very very first joke. However, his jokes were not just meant to be funny, although they were, they always had impact and were delivered with impeccable timing. He made you laugh, learn and think all at the same time. When you were in the room with Ken, you knew you were in the room with greatness. I am honored to be his friend. R.I.P. Ken Kass – You will be sorely missed. -Coach Papa

Ken Kass was the funniest person i had ever met. Witty & charming & a good husband, father & grandfather, he was always upbeat & he said he was going to beat this because he was such a positive person. In fact, he was the most popular person in town & his nickname was “The Deuce” based on a very amusing story that friends & family find comforting. i briefly mention the story because he told me a few times that he wanted that nickname to stick long after he was gone, so i’m inserting it here for good measure. Also- i remember Ken saying he was going to spend Thanksgiving with his grandchildren after getting out of the hospital & that he missed his daughter Kimberly & the kids & his wife, Denise so much. He was happily married & in love with his wife & his whole family & life in general. Whenever i felt sad, Ken was always there to lift my spirits & i am truly devastated because the world lost a really good soul. May God protect Ken’s family & comfort them during this very difficult time. My mom & i are devasted by this loss. For those who knew Ken well, i’d like to think that he’ll be transformed into an angel & watch over all of us. Rest in Peace, Dear Ken…we miss you, Deuce. 💔✡️🙏
