Obituary
Sidney Bass, 91, beloved husband of the late Annette, nee Land for 62 wonderful years; loving father of Rona, Paula, Mindy, Jana-Michel and Marc (Kristine) Bass; treasured grandfather of Rachel, Mitchell, Matthew and Megan; cherished brother of Charlotte (the late Robert) Seeley, the late Joe (the late Patricia) and the late Fred (Charlotte) Bass; devoted son of the late Emery and Sylvia; dear uncle, cousin, friend and mensch. Sidney proudly served in the U.S. Navy, he was an Electrical Engineer and an avid photographer. The family wishes to acknowledge Belmont Village Glenview for the wonderful care they provided to Sidney for the past five years. The Graveside service 12 Noon Tuesday at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to C.A.R.E. Northshore “Community Animal Rescue Effort” (www.carenorthshore.org) or Alzheimers Association (www.alz.org).
