Cyril S. Jacobson, 83, loving father of Jennifer (Peter) Arroyo and Jessica Jacobson; cherished Papa of Addison, Alyssa and Peter Jacob Arroyo; devoted son of the late Rose and Morris Jacobson; dear brother of Nedra (the late Jack) Simon; treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Chapel service Friday 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Cy was always kind to me. Every conversation I had with him was interesting and enlightening. I recently spent time with him to care for his grandchildren; his love for his family was abundantly apparent. They were his joy and I know their lives were enriched by having him so close. He was loved and will be missed.
