David F. Crown, 95, beloved husband of the late Marcella nee Shapiro for 66 years; loving father of Bennett (Michele) Crown and Debbie (Rob) Paneral; cherished grandfather of Bailey (Amy) Ogrin, Kathryn (Brett) Rymer, Jessica, Jacqui and Gabby Paneral; adored great grandfather of Avery Ogrin; devoted son of the late Herman and Tillie Crown; dear brother of the late Joe (the late Arlene) Crown and the late Jerry (the late Paul) Wallace; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends. David’s hobbies included photography, ham radio and model aircraft. Private service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center.
