Marla and her family attended our wedding. We have her recorded on the video speaking, but here is a still photograph.

Auntie Marla was my mother’s oldest friend. They met in junior high. When I was very young, every time I would go over to Auntie Marla’s house, I would search for the See’s Candy lollypops that she had there. I guess the reason why I was so into See’s Candies is that when I was 10 months old my parents brought me over to her house and had her watch me when they went on vacation. While there Aunt Marla gave me what I now think is the first lollypop I ever had. It happened to be a See’s Candy lollypop. I have appended a photo of me at Aunt Marla’s after eating one such chocolate candy.
One of Auntie Marla’s early memory of me, as she liked to remind me—most famously during my wedding ceremony, was that she used to change my diapers. While I don’t have a photo of that, I do have some of her at my wedding shower and wedding. I have attached some of them. I have known Auntie Marla all my life, I will miss her very much.
Love,
Rick
