Sherrie was my Kindergarten teacher in 1973. Our family became very close friends with her. She often spent the night at our house(which was right across the street from Harper School) when it would snow. She didn’t like to drive in the snow. She’d often sit in our yard in the summer to sunbathe. Or we would find her on her patio sunbathing, with a book and Tab cola in hand. I would visit her after school in her classroom until it was 3:30, and time to leave. Even when I had time through High School and College. We would share stories, and she always wanted to be up to date with my love life(LOL). She would always spray a bit of cologne on before she left school to go home, and give me a spritz(Usually in the eye lol). My siblings, Pam(Abercrombie)Snyder and Fred Abercrombie each had her as a teacher as well. My Mom, Glenda Abercrombie and Sherrie were very close. Sherrie would refer to her as her big sister. We are very sad to hear of her passing. She had a rough time, but thankful she is at peace. We love you Pinio! We send our condolences to Jim for his loss of Sherrie.
