Grote, 89, beloved husband of the late Josephine; loving father of Donna (Steven) Strok and David (Matilda) Meroni; cherished grandpa and great grandpa of many; devoted son of the late Sophie and Charles Grote; dear brother of the late Dorothy Kelmanson, Charles “Buddy” Grote, Irene Grote and Jerome Grote; treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many.
