Annette “Tootsie” Berman, 88, December 6, 2022; beloved wife and best friend of the late Sheldon for 64 1/2 wonderful years; loving mother of Robbin (Neal) Winston and Stacey (Gary) Portugal; cherished and devoted “Nana” and “Tootsie” of Jason (Kathy) Dordick, Jennifer (Jake) Schlozman, Danielle (Max) Sheridan, Jacob and Jordan Portugal, great grandmother of Kaitlyn and Meghan Goldstein, Makenzie Dordick, Evan and Sadie Schlozman, and Eliana and Landon Sheridan; much loved sister of the late Clarice Goldberg and the late Jerome Miller; dear aunt, great aunt and friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (www.komen.org/donate) would be greatly appreciated. I want to mention how much your Mom touched my heart. Your Mom had such a zest for life and will always will remain such a positive force of love to me and all who knew her. Her love shines on in all of you.
I especially loved talking with her and loved her kindness and joy towards me. She always gave me the time to ask about me, and how are the girls she would ask? What’s new with them? She was excited and happy to learn all about my family.
Annette had such great wisdom, patience, and joy that she shared and will be remembered for this genuineness by all. Your Mom, Nana, Great Grandma, Tootsie and lovely Annette devoted herself fully to all who knew her. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
