Barry was such a nice man. Growing up, I always looked forward to coming over for Father’s Day. He was so welcoming and whenever I saw him, he had such a big smile on his face. He was always telling stories. He will be greatly missed by so many. Sending love to you all.

When my brother Michael married Lisa, Barry and Judy also became part of our family. I enjoyed the numerous family gatherings over the years. Barry was an interesting and intelligent man with a great sense of humor and he could talk about any topic, and we did. I’ll always remember how he loved coming to my parents house for our traditional “Italian Christmas dinner.” Barry and Judy always brought a Gingerbread house that the kids (and adults) “demolished.” You will truly be missed. Sending love to your whole family 💜

Dear Eric and Jill, and Lynne,
January 11, 2022
I am so sorry to hear the news about Barry. I met him while in high school coming to Eric’s home and while pledging Tau Delta Phi. To me, he was larger than life at that time. I have never forgotten the many times he was involved in working with my pledge class, and especially working with me and my pledge book! After I became an active member, I got to know him on a more personal basis. I will treasure my memories of him. I hope the Spitzer family can remember the happy times you celebrated with him over the years. Best wishes.
Rich, Tau Pi

I did not have extensive dealings with Barry but enough to recognize that he was very smart with a “street sense” that is hard to come by. Coupled with his intellect and drive, he was a tremulous force to deal with. He came into our office occasionally at Spring Air and when I was head of National Accounts provided me with an endless amount of insights and advice which helped me tremendously and for that I will always be grateful. Rest In Peace my friend.

It is with my heartfelt sympathy to your family and friends. You have impacted many with your great heart. I will always cherish the time you made for me when I was growing up. I’ll never forget hanging with you and my dad at the factory on a Saturday. You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten
