Lawrence “Larry” Berland, 88, beloved husband of Martha “Marty” Berland, happily married for 18 years; much loved husband of the late Carol Berland; loving father of Bob (Helen) and Lori Berland; cherished Papa B of Taylor (Derek) Dimke, Carlee (Jeremy) Renda, Morgan Berland and Melissa (Val Saportas) Litwin; great-grandfather of Addison Rose, Matias and Amelia; Larry was preceded in death by his dear brother Ted (Cynthia) Berland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Great Vest Side Club, www.greatvestside.org. Chapel service Thursday, June 2, 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment following at Shalom Memorial Park. Please accept my most profound sympathy for your loss. I remember Mr.B, as a incredible human being who was kind and professional the sort of man anyone would be proud to emulate.
But, mostly I remember his laughter which brought life to every interaction.
