Marc D. Goldish

When I lived in Chicago, I had a pleasure of meeting Marc with Tony on several occasions. He was always warm and welcoming. More times than I can count, I would call Tony only to find him exercising with Marc, time Tony enjoyed and treasured.
Marc leaves a great legacy in his family. People live two lives. The first is the time they walk on earth. The second extends until the last time someone says their name. He will be long remembered. May his memory always be a blessing.

Marc’s Dad, Milton (Maische) was my Mom’s (Dorothy) older brother. I think 16 years older.

Mom loved Marc. She was only 9 years older than her nephew, Marc, and would always insist, privately, that he call her Auntie Dottie in front of others so she could say, publicly, “Oh, Marc, you don’t have to call me Auntie Dottie!”

Our families were and are close. We miss not only Marc, but also his wonderful wife, Phyllis and sister Freya and Bob and Milton and Edith. But we take joy in their lives and the time we shared with them.

As neighbors and personal friends of Tony & Sharon, we have enjoyed the close family interaction between Tony, Steve, Nick & Megan, and the honor of meeting Marc on several occasions. By all accounts he was a great man, and an even greater father. His legacy lives on with his children and grandchildren.
