I have vivid memories of growing up adjacent to the Freeman Family. They were a tight family unit in contrast to my own chaotic household. My strongest memories of Mr. Freeman are of his strong, handsome features, his affection for his family, and his seemingly endless parade of new, flashy sports cars. When young, I was never sure of Mr. Freeman’s first name. His wife called him one name, different from his given first name. His sons called him yet another. When Mr. Freeman packed up his family and headed west to secure their futures, I was devastated to lose two of my closest allies – Michael and Mark. Falling right in between them in age, both were special and integral to me in my younger years. I can admit after all this time I was always envious of their family bond, and their wonderful, devoted parents.
We hope Allen’s memory will be for a blessing to his entire family, and may he rest in peace.

Allen is now at rest. Eileen has been a loving wife through all the hardships of the past months. Joan and I have been passive neighbors observing the love for each other between Allen and Eileen.
