Howard Korengold, 89, adored son of the late Maurice “Korny” and Gertrude Korengold (née Turner): beloved husband of the late Harriet Korengold (née Cohen) happily married for 60 years; loving father of David (Carol) and Richard (Leslie) Korengold; cherished grandfather of Jonathan, Veronica, Jeffrey and Lucas (fiancée Chrissy Polka); much loved uncle of Diane (Howard) Ganden and the late Bryan (Barbara) Mosak. Loved by many, liked by all. A good, kind and decent man. Patriarch of the Turner Family. He will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers, or corned beef, memorial contributions can be made to North Shore Congregation Israel, www.nsci.org. Graveside service Tuesday, July 5, 12:00 PM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. I grew up with Harriet. Both Harriet and Howard were dear friends for so many years. He was a good kind loving man. I have sweet memories of being together with both of them. May his memory be a blessing.

Howard and Harriet were wonderful friends and we spent many vacations together. The most fun was at our Thursday night dinners at “The Club” (Old Country Buffet) with the crowd. My condolences to all.
