Nancy Kopelman nee Stamp, 70, beloved wife of Ian for 37 years; loving mother of Meredith (Fiance Rob Aponte) and Jason (Molly); cherished Nonnie of Navy Lee; dear sister of Elaine (Ross) Rubin; fond aunt of 2 loving nieces; devoted daughter of the late Nathan and Mania Stamp. Funeral Service, Tuesday 10:30 AM at North Shore Congregation Israel, 1185 Sheridan Road, Glencoe. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. I have so many memories of my Aunt Nancy. She was a loving aunt who always wanted to spend time with me and my sister. I remember sleepovers in the downtown condo, swimming and then waking up to take a trip to great america or Santas Village.

Nancy and Ian always supported and attended my musical theatre shows. She was a proud aunt.

She loved and was so kind to my son Nathan. He always looked forward to seeing Nancy and called her Auntie Nancy as well.

She always had nothing but kind words to say about everyone.

I wish I could have lived closer and spent more time with her.

Nancy was Amazing. Her smile, laughter and amazing class made her one of life’s true friends and incredible mothers, spouse, sister, grandmother and friend to all. She will be so missed by so many… and she always made you feel great, wanted, and special. She was always giving to others and wanted others to truly be happy. SHE WILL BE MISSED and the Slovin Family share their thoughts and prayers with the Kopelman Family.
