Alan H Maltenfort

Alan was a cherished family member and friend for many years. He was always willing to provide helpful advice and support. He loved his family. Our thoughts are with each and every member of that special family.
One special memory, from about 60 years ago, is the time my family returned home from a vacation and Alan had made a special trip to pick up our family cat so that he would be there to greet us upon our return. That memory always brings a smile to my face.

Alan was one of the earliest mentors in my career and although I don’t think that I fully appreciated it until later, he was well ahead of his time. I have benefited so much in my career for the lessons he shared with me. I am deeply grateful for his kind, caring work, his guidance and leadership. Thank you Alan, you were a truly pioneer and I will miss you.

My deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers for Alan. I worked with Alan for many years and was part of his Northwestern Mutual family. Alan was a founding father of the NM/Baird problem. Alan was a major contributor to the success of this program. Rest In Peace my friend.
