Marcia Petlin-Fowler

I do not inow Marcia’s sons but I do remember Samara. I hope she remembers me. Her mother and I were close friends for many any years.
I was shocked whe I picked up the Tribne and learned that she passed away. You all have my deepest sympathy and condolances. I wish I had details of what happened to her and Samara if you would care to let me know if this was sudden or she was ill for a long time….I would really appreciate it. Your mother was such a good person and I couldn’t believe how many years she stayed working for the sympathy. It was not easy for her to come and go with buses -=–but she did it no matter what.

I originally met her through the Arthritis Foundation. I worked in the Chicago office for 25 years and met her early on when there was some function at the Chicago Theatre and that’s as far as my memory goes. I have no idea how we met that night but we stayed in touch for many many years.

Im so sorry for all of you. No matter what a person’s age or situation is, we are never ready for them to go. Stay strong….I know you have lots of friends and family to lend support and Samara I would love to hear from you if and when you are ready to contact me.
