Avis Primack

Avis was dedicated, welcoming, and energetic. She headed our local fragile x support group, hosted meetings in her home, and spearheaded the Chicago conference. I admired her competence and organizational skills. She was a wonderful person, and no one has been able or willing to take her place. Our fragile x community was lucky to have had her. We all miss her, and her husband Ned, who was by her side, supporting her efforts.

Heartfelt condolences. We are saddened by her loss. Avis was a wonderful person and we enjoyed being with her at many functions when we lived up North.

Avis was the mother of my husband’s late wife Jody. Avis was always warm and welcomed me into her life easily. I remember she gave me a card that basically said “you are like a daughter.” I cherish that card and sentiment and kept it in a special place. I will miss you Avis and am sad we haven’t seen you.
