Obituary

Thomas Joseph Parkins, of Glencoe, IL, passed away on November 14, 2022. Tom was the son of Maurita and Raymond Pinczkowski, Sr. Following in his father’s footsteps, Tom was devoted to The Boy Scouts of America, earning the honor of Eagle Scout. After Tom graduated from Bayview High School, he went on to study History and Business at University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and was a proud member of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. After graduation, Tom pursued a career in finance. He was the branch manager at several stock brokerage firms over the years and was universally loved by those who were lucky enough to work for him. Tom met Patti when she interviewed with him for a job, and he asked her out on a date instead. It was “love at first sight” and they were happily married for 37 years. Tom loved all things ‘Wisconsin’ from the Northwoods to the Badgers and the Green Bay Packers. He was always a South Side Milwaukee boy at heart. He is survived by his loving wife Patti Levin, his father-in-law Leon Levin, his brother Raymond (Jean Gallagher) Pinczkowski, Jr., his adoring children Bradley (Jennifer) Parkins, Daniel (Stephanie) Parkins, Megan (Adam) Hendrickson, Amy Parkins (Jack Johnson). He is also survived by his true sources of joy, his grandchildren, Katherine and Jack Parkins, Theodore and Leo Hendrickson, Owen and Elijah Parkins, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who each meant the world to him.
