Janet Weiser

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Fischer Weiser (nee’ Mellovitz), 71 who lost her battle with breast cancer on August 22, 2023. Janet was a woman of unwavering love and boundless compassion. She had an incredible ability to make everyone feel special and loved, leaving an incredible mark on their hearts. As a devoted mother, she selflessly poured her love into her children, raising them with kindness, wisdom and a deep sense of empathy. Her nurturing nature created a home filled with love, laughter and cherished memories that we will hold on to forever. Her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of her family. Beloved wife of Jonathan for 13 years; loving mother of Sharon (Sal) Contreras and Lisa Hill; devoted “Nana” of Payton, Alex and Katie Contreras, Kris Hill and Corey Harris; cherished sister of Rhonda (the late Steven) Rashkow; dear aunt of Marc Rashkow and much loved friend of many.
