I certainly had lot of fun getting to know Dan and everyone misses him in the swimming pool. He had great stories to tell.
Just heard about it today and sorry I missed the funeral wishing Florence and the family my condolences.

Thank you for streaming the service – I’m sorry I couldn’t attend the funeral or shiva in person. My Aunt Beudi is watching the livestream too, in Florida, and also sends her condolences.
I was shocked to here of Cousin Danny’s passing – maybe considering his age I shouldn’t have been, but he was so happy to live, I guess I thought he would live forever. I’ll miss his laughter and his good humor. The holidays certainly won’t be the same without him. I’m glad he and Cousin Florence made it to their 70th anniversary – honestly, I don’t know how many people can do that (even granted long life – or maybe especially if granted long life. That’s a long time to spend with someone). I’m sorry their 70th had to be during Covid. But I’m glad Danny made it to a time we could be less isolated. However long the life he was granted, I know we all wish it cold have been longer. He’ll be missed. It’s hard to think that the next time I call he won’t be there to pick up the phone.

To the whole Meyer family and to the Greenberg clan.. we wish our condolences on Uncle Danny’s passing. He surely will be missed but we’ll always have the fond memories to remember. May everyone be comforted during this sad time as we mourn the loss of a beloved family member.

Dan attended all of the Roosevelt & Von Steuben high school reunion parties hosted at the Del Webb /Grand Dominion community. He was crowned King of the event for he was the oldest alumni present. Dan was a gentleman who always approached us with a smile and a friendly greeting. Dan and Florence made a beautiful couple. He will be missed.
