Obituary

Cody Leff, 32, passed away on December 1, 2023. Much loved significant other to Anne Carreon; cherished son of Judie and the late Michael; wonderful brother of Emily and Zach (Brittany); adored grandson of Lois and the late Phil Lapine, the late Paul and Atha Cahalan, and the late Howard Leff; loved nephew of Pat (Marcia) Cahalan, Janet (the late Chuck) Young, Joan (Bruce) McPherson, Michael (Anne) Cahalan, and the late Sherri Urbanowski; great nephew of Miles and Helene Beermann and Sherwin and Jill Leff; dear cousin and friend to all who knew him. Cody worked as a financial consultant for Cross Country Consulting. He loved to play video games, was fond of cooking, enjoyed comedy shows, singing, and traveling the world, but most importantly enjoyed time with his treasured loved ones. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University for Leukemia Research in honor of his father, www.cancer.northwestern.edu/giving. I didn’t know Cody very well but we were on the same team at Fannie Mae and had weekly Wednesday meeting where we had to turn on our camera’s and all I can say is that Copy was always smiling and sweet and always willing to lend anyone a hand at work. My prayers go out to all of his family and friends.
