Sending love to all and hoping all will remember all the well-lived chapters in the Book of Harriet and not her hard last chapter. In childhood, I was dazzled by her beauty. In adulthood, I was dazzled by her brain. In both, I loved my cousin Harriet. Stay well everyone.

The story goes that Harriet was at the hospital with my mother on the day I was born…. I don’t remember that however I do remember many many family events with Harriet, Her home was alway open to me and my family and I learned to do the same with all my relatives.
Rest In Peace Harriet. I will. miss you.

I grew up with David Chaiken Harriet and Marvin Chaiken and spent much time in their home from kindergarten through college. I live one block away from the Chaikens in Skokie, IL. Harriert and Marvin were kind and generous with all off Davis’s friends.
