Gary Chavin

Thinking about when Joel & Gary were landscaping partners (Stevie-Blackie Gardners) during grammar school years; social hi-jinx golfing and Centor & Sullivan reunions. We remained in touch over the years. A bright and vibrant guy who will be missed.

I will always remember how loved Gary was by his daughter, Jill. I have known Jill for over 20 years. And in all that time she has spoken of her father so many times. And every story, every remembrance, was always filled with such love! I especially remember when she was working for him and how special it was for her to see him when it was just the two of them. I have always been in awe of how close Jill and Daryl and the boys are, not just to each other, but also to their entire family. It has been so clear since the boys were little how close they were to their grandfather. It’s been an honor to listen to Jill over all of these years talk so beautifully about her father. That is the best tribute that I can give him.
