Chuck was definitely happy that day – being with family, being on a vacation, going to his niece’s graduation, going to a restaurant, having been on his “dreamed about train ride” the day before, …. you just did not know, but he was happy and he showed it!

Now, Chuck is with his dear cousins, and if Milton can arrange for another train ride, he will.

Chuck was thrilled to ride on the train through Arizona. He said that he always dreamed of riding on a train. He surprised all of us when he said the “ticket conductor” was from Chicago when she had not even told us where she was from originally. And sure enough, when we asked, yes, she was from Chicago. This was the first time I had spent so much time with Chuck and I soon discovered that he was very observant, appreciated good food, and there was a smile always waiting to come out.

My dear cousin my memories are fond ones. I can remember coming to visit you guys on Sundays and playing around the house; in those days that ‘s what we did. RIP Chuck you are home now with your parents and I’m sure they are welcoming you with open arms. Love you cousin.

Chuck I’ve known and loved you since the day I was born. The life you made for yourself was admirable. Always so kind to me, I will treasure the memories from the times we were able to be together. Hug my brother and rest in peace dear Charlie. I love you.
