We only had the good fortune to meet Gwen once in Chicago. We are avid tennis players and as it turns out, happened to be members of the same tennis club (Midtown) down in Atlanta. Gwen and Adam graciously invited us to their home and to play at their local club. We had the opportunity to spend some time talking and sharing stories about my sister and my good college friend Greg Isenberger met during a ski trip visit to Colorado. Learning about Gwen’s illness was sad but leaning about her courageous battle to fight it was so incredibly inspiring. I am certain that she inspired countless women with the tools and courage to fight. She was such an inspiration. My wife Michele fell in love with her as such a strong and kind soul. She will be missed and we pray for the entire family.

The day we moved on to Bristol Drive Gwen showed up on our doorstep w her 4 children and a homemade challah. We raised kids from preschool to college. She will always be remembered by the children now in their 20’s for having the biggest and best Halloween candy. She took interest in every individual she crossed paths with. I hosted a shopping party for Gwen when she started repping women’s clothing. She found beauty in every woman and spent her life empowering them literally until the end. Rest in Peace gorgeous lady. We were neighbors for 30 years. Gwen was an amazing woman with great inner strength. She fought cancer for almost 12 years but was always with a smile on her face and happy to chat and exchange stories. She walked dogs every day until about 2 weeks before. Not only that she shoveled snow even when she was sick. She led a full life and left many lessons for us to follow. May her soul rest in peace.

I didn’t get to know Gwen as much as I would’ve loved to but I can tell by her lovely daughter that she raised that she was a wonderful soul. May that soul rest in peace. Her legacy will on through her granddaughter.

So sorry for your loss, Adam, Teddy, Rachel, Max and Danny. Gwen was one-of-a-kind and as full of life as anyone I have ever encountered. May her memory be a blessing.
