Obituary
Murry was a graduate of Bowen High School and University of Illinois Dental School. He served as Captain in the U.S. Army. Murry was a caring and dedicated dentist for over 40 years. He was an avid volunteer at the Chicago Botanic Gardens and Lutheran General Hospital, and passionate about his many hobbies including remote control airplanes, photography, painting, and amateur radio. Most important to him was his family, and he was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather who was so proud of his children and grandchildren. We love him and will miss him so much.

Dr. Randall was my childhood dentist in Northlake. He was so kind! He had a drawer with little “toys.” You could pick one out for yourself after your appointment. His wife Sandy was so pretty and friendly. They always asked how my mom was doing etc. I felt at ease going to the dentist as a kid. Once I grew up, I continued going to him until he retired. I even recommended him to my boyfriend Mike (later, husband) and he became a patient also. I had the privilege of seeing Dr. Randall at all THREE of his offices! His original one was on Wolf road. He moved into a different suite in that building as his business expanded. Later, he moved his office to North Avenue. All three were in Northlake. After my husband and I moved to Wheaton, we STILL drove to Northlake to see HIM! Sandy always made the office decor relaxing and attractive. I’m very sad to hear of Dr. Randall’s passing. Thank you for taking care of us, my parents and my family for all those years!

Murry L-rd, didn’t deserve to suffer. Virtues within him, I tried to emulate. He had many of the fine qualities, my dad had. Sandy and Murry represented a shared and sacred love connection, Bridget and I admired and hoped to follow. Now Sandy and Randy are left as Bridget and Murry depart, weeks apart. He works in mysterious ways…
