Sending love and heartfelt condolences to the entire Rosen family, and all of those who were part of Denny’s life. We had many years at camp Ojibwa, and many, many wonderful memories there. Denny will be sorely missed . RIP Dear Denny, and thank you for bringing so much to the lives of so many.

I met Denny in 1984, 7-years old as the youngest camper. While he didn’t own Ojibwa that year, he was getting ready to take over, and for the next decade he helped me learn, grow, and become the man I am today. I was crushed to hear the news, and my heartfelt condolences are sent to his family and everyone he influenced. Sending my love.

My prayers go out to the family. Mr Rosen was my home room teacher, drivers ed teacher and dean at Ridgewood. His teaching and structure left an impression within me that has carried thru the years. I feared him at times, yet respected him and he will always be remembered.

Coach Rosen was more than a coach to many of us young men on the Ridgewood High School wrestling team. He taught us a lot of life lesson’s beyond being winners on the mat. He will be missed all.

I was super lucky to have met Denny starting in 1978 at camp and through my friendship with David. So happy he was part of my life growing up. Learned so much from this great leader of men. My deepest condolences to the whole Rosen family and ALL that loved him.

I first met Denny during his first year as Camp Director. I Visited Camp Ojibwa many times on behalf of the Illinois Section, American Camping Association, Camp Accreditation Program. Down through the years I learned more and more about Ojibwa and Denny, his family, his loyal & first rate professional camp staff and the investor/owners. The more I learned the more I respected and admired Denny and Camp Ojibwa. He was a magnificent Camp Director and an incredible person. I retired at the end of June 2016 and haven’t been able to see Denny or his camp since. I send Loving condolences to his wonderful family and the Ojibwa Community. Rest In Peace Denny!

My thoughts and support are with all of you – including Sandy, Rachel, Joel, David, Karen and the rest of your family and children. My memories of 16 consecutive years as Ojibwa camp doctor from 2000 through 2015, as well as being a camp Ojibwa parent for nearly as many years, are filled with warm memories and thoughts about those wonderful weeks when I had the privilege of being the camp doctor, always during the exciting collegiate week festivities. I’m so sorry for your loss of Denny. In addition to my own personal connection to your family my boys lives were deeply enriched by their experiences at Ojibwa as both campers and counselors. While I never worked with you at Ojibwa David, our connection is also of course family like, with Karen being Beth’s first cousin (once removed). Sending you all my love and support at this difficult time. Rick
