Laura & David.
Your parents were close friends of my parents, Seymour and Bertie Kalmikoff. I have fond memories of both your parents.

We’ve lost a matriarch of our family- a woman of valor -an Eshet Chayil who made family gatherings a priority. As we moved East after I got married, Molke always included us.

I’m happy that I was able to share a dinner with Myrna and Laura when I was last in Illinois in January of 2022. It was so great to see them both. Happily, Myrna was able to stay in her beloved home, surrounded by all her mementos of life and love that she held onto. I cannot forget how she was able to grant us permission, back when we were in High School, to paint Laura’s bedroom walls blood red, with a black graphic arrow running and swirling around the room. WHAT were we THINKING? I really can’t remember, but it was fun for me to do, Laura loved it (which made me happy) and Myrna (and Morrie) let it happen, god bless them. My deepest condolences to Laura and the entire Millman clan.

I was often called by her daughter Laura to give her mom a shower, when her usual caregiver was unavailable.
Myrna was always delightful and thoroughly enjoyed having a hot shower! Frankly the bathroom had to be steaming hot
before and after. Made me feel like I needed a shower after it was all over.(smile)
Lotion and her hair dried, robe on, she sometimes enjoyed a nice bowl of ice-cream before bedtime.
A charming, warm hearted, smiling Myrna will always be remembered, and to her daughter Laura, I say “Thank You”,
for welcoming me into both of your lives. Dawn Evans
