Where do I start…. I started working for Eddie as a runner, I respected him and loved him. He helped me through some difficult times. I still have the Tiffany’s bracelet him and Jamie got me for Christmas. I loved working in the Fed Fund pit, Eddie was a fair man and well respected among his peers.
Rest East my friend , thank you for trusting and believing in me!
See you on the other side 💙

My condolences to the Dworkin family, so sorry for your loss. Eddie was what life is about – laughter, hard work and integrity! He stood five feet behind my desk on floor and we shared many light moments. When the Fed was active there was not a harder worker in the FF pit – Eddie and his team rocked! RIP my friend! You will be missed!

Eddie was a very dear friend to me. We worked in fed funds pit together. at the Chicago Board of Trade He was a great broker and probably the biggest filling broker in our pit. Eddie was very good at what he did and helped build a very successful business. Eddie and I had a lot in common which helped build our friendship.
We loved to talk about sports together, as we were both big Chicago sports fans, and loved to talk and brag about our families. Eddie loved Fantasy sports too. He used to run our fantasy, football, baseball, and basketball fantasy leagues made up prominently of the traders in our pit. He was a great commissioner for those leagues and was super competitive and took it very seriously, as most of us did. He even had some of those Fantasy drafts in his basement . Those were such great times.
I moved away about five years ago and lost a little bit of touch with Eddie but we still managed to probably talk to each other a couple times a year and catch up. I will miss Eddie dearly and the conversations we used to have. Eddie loved the phone so those conversations would get quite long but I wouldn’t trade them for anything. The hardest thing on my conscience is that I was just thinking about Eddie a couple weeks ago.and that it had been a while since we had spoken and I really needed to reach out to him . That never happened . I would’ve loved to talk to my friend unknowingly one last time.
My condolences go out to his family , Jamie and his kids who I know he loved with all his heart .
I will see you on the other side Eddie and look forward to our conversations in the future my friend .
