Marion “Mitzy” Treitler, 93, nee Resnik, beloved wife of the late Fred Treitler, happily married for 55 years; loving mother of Dr. Stanley Treitler, Franci (George) Galinsky and Jodi Petchenik; cherished grandmother of Beth (Aaron) McElherne, Bryan Treitler, Amy (Joey) Weitzman, Michael Treitler and Steven Petchenik; adored great-grandmother of Jackson; dear sister of Evelyn Renner, Arlyne Singer and Esther Zack. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org or the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, www.bcrf.org. Chapel service Wednesday, May 3, 10:00 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment following at Shalom Memorial Park. Francie my heart goes out to you. I’m so sorry for the loss of your mom. I will miss Mitzy forever I enjoyed talking to you guys over Christmas I believe . Love always from Barb and Bo Henry from Carson City. I hope to talk to you someday and give my condolence to Stanley and Jody. Thank you.

Jodi is a great friend to Denise and I and she always spoke about her mom with such affection. I know they had a great relationship and Jodi will miss her mother everyday. We want to show our support.
