Obituary

Stacie Choslovsky died peacefully at Misericordia Home, where she lived for the past 40 years and where she received world class care and unparalleled love. Stacie was the youngest child of the late Dr. Sydney and the late Binnie; loving sister of Marla (Paul Greenberg) , Joel, and Bill (Wendy); dear auntie of Talia, Morris and Micah Greenberg, Ellie, Aiden and Carli. Stacie was born profoundly intellectually challenged and functioned at a one year old level while enduring seizures and other ailments. Even so, she gave and received love, enjoyed life, challenged herself and taught all those she encountered more then they taught her. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Funeral Service, Friday, October 13, 2023, 11 AM at Misericordia 6300 N. Ridge Avenue, Chicago, IL. While so sad to hear of Stacie’s passing, there is comfort in knowing she is back in the arms of Dr. and Mrs. Choslovsky. While I did not fully appreciate it as a teenage babysitter, the loving home they provided for their daughter before she moved to Miseracordia was truly remarkable. I will always remember Stacie’s smile captured in the above photo, which was always a little wider if we were treating her to McDonalds french fries. 🙂

Marla, Joel and Billy, I feel blessed to have been able to share a small part of your sister’s life journey with you. God bless you Stacie.
