Howard Aronson, 98, April 13, 2023. Beloved husband of Pauline Metzger-Aronson; loving father of Larry (Mary Kay), Rich (Nyan), Dr Lori Aronson (Craig) Froehle, JoEllen (Bill) Beedon, Eugene (Deb) Schaefer, Roslyn Schaefer, Richard (Maria) Schaefer and Laurel Schaefer (Carlos) Ruiz; cherished grandfather of Melissa, Matt, Molly, Samantha, Colin, Allison, Richard, Jason, Alexander, Anne Marie, Nicholas, Charlie, Josie, Mimi, Daisy, Joseph, Cole, Tyler; much loved great grandfather of Sophia, Samantha and Hunter. Howard was passionate about all things Ham Radio. Howard loved square dancing and attended many events, which ultimately led him to meet his wife Pauline of 27 years. Most recently, Howard volunteered much of his time to Morton Grove Search and Rescue. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice in his name would be greatly appreciated. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023, 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
