I’m so happy in recent years I was able to spend some time with Renee and many of her long time friends that we both shared. Facebook was also able to keep us in touch. From the infrequent times we shared, I’ll never forget her beautiful smile, and her beauty inside and out. She was always as sweet to me as she was to her closest friends. I’m incredibly sorry we never got to know each other better. Renee, may you rest in sweet sweet peace knowing that you will always be missed and loved by more people than than most people know in a lifetime. Love

We met back in the late 1980’s in Chicago. We were both Realtors. We shared stories, information and many times we just chatted. She was part of what I call “the 200 agents you want to do business with”. We stayed in touch thru social media posts after I moved to AZ in 2014. A good heart, a good soul. May you have peace and I am happy to have met you.

I lost a dear friend this week, as many of you are feeling. Renee and I met after college as single girls living in the city. We became close friends working at Beliard Gordon and remained close through the years, sharing the good times and the bad. We shared every birthday for close to 30 years (with Carol….my November birthday friends). We knew about each other families, relationships, work challenges, trips, and everything in each other’s lives. I was always amazed how Renee maintained relationships with everyone she met along the way…and how she experienced every resturant that opened! (Although, we loved meeting at RJ Grunts for the salad bar with the chopped liver.) She was in a way like a sister I never had. I was so amazed at how she navigated through the past few years with strength and determination to move on. I know she’s now at peace and we will focus on the many memories to keep her spirit alive. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Renee had this amazing ability to really savor the very best of foods – her love of CHEETOS and White Castle SLIDERS will always make me smile…we celebrated our birthdays last year at the Porcelain Palace on Addison. She brought the hats and the balloons!
The staff thought is was so “cute” that they gave us a DISCOUNT…Her friendship was given so freely and lovingly. She could always talk me down off the wall if a real estate was going south…I will miss her…life was so much richer her with her in it…Peace sweet Renee.

I met Renee in about 1965.
I was with my friend Pete Czyl and we were at Rainbow Beach.
Pete and I performed the imfamous “Overthrown Ball Trick” to have the excuse to get close and strike up a conversation with the two cute girls on the beach blanket.
That’s how we became friends.
Renee was a joy to be around and this world was a better and happier place because she was in it .
Renee, you are missed.
