Obituary
A life well lived full of family, friends, travel, food, joy, and laughter. Richard loved to golf, to ski, to travel and to eat everything along the way. He always remarked how very lucky he was to have been blessed with a remarkable wife, two loving daughters, great lifelong friends and to have watched his grandkids grow into wonderful adults. He will be remembered by many and missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (www.nationalmssociety.org) and American Civil Liberties Union (www.aclu.org/impact). A celebration of life will be held on May 20th on what would have been Richard’s 98th birthday.

I have fond memories of all the years his family and mine vacationed together on Lake George. I will always remember his ever-present good cheer, friendliness and generosity.

Richard was always so kind to me and my parents. Karen and I met on our first day of school at Syracuse University. Our parents took us to Hillel, discovered mutual roots in Brooklyn, and helped forge a friendship that Karen and I still find very special. Richard and Marilyn treated me like a third daughter when I spent time at their home in Queens. I watched my first golf match there and learned a lot from him. May his memory be a blessing.
