I think I was there from the start of Sharon and Alan’s great love affair. In fact, perhaps, a matchmaker. I’m sad I have not been in touch in our adult years, but the long time bond of of family endures. I have made a gift to American Diabetes in Sharon’s memory. Julian and I send our profound sympathies . Rhona Berkowitz Frazin

Sharon and I grew up together. We had fun when we were young and went to school together. We both became teachers and had that in common too. She was such a sweet person with a contagious smile. Bob and I send heartfelt condolences to her family. May her memory live on in your hearts. ❤️

My favorite memory of Sharon has to include Alan and their knack for dueling conversations. I have also known her since the baby shower at Link School welcoming Melissa into the world. Sharon had a sparkling personality, a huge heart, and so much pride in her children and grandchildren. Tom and I are saddened to say goodbye and send love to her family.

I first met Sharon at the baby shower the Link school staff had for her and Alan before Melissa’s birth. At the time, I had no idea that she would later be a co-worker and dear friend. I have many memories of sharing happy times here and in Arizona. I will miss her laughter and her smile.

How many people have a dear friend for over 64 years?..That is how long Sharon and I have been friends, and I am grateful for that. I have memories of being girlfriends, college roommates, sharing wonderful times with our husband’s, being new moms, empty nesters, ..
On and on…..
I am heartbroken and will forever miss her. The picture of Sharon in this obituary is beautiful, and how I will always remember her with love.
