I will cherish all memories with Sheryl! She was one of the most beautiful souls I’ve ever known. RIP, Sheryl. I will miss you so much!

So many good memories with Aunt (Cousin) Sheryl! And the hours of conversations. We talked about life…recipes, men, travel, work, family, Aunt Bea…oh how she loved remembering stories with Aunt Bea! I always enjoyed stories from when she was younger. We had adventures when I visited Chicago. Absolutely loved one of my trips out when I was considering going to college in Chicago. We stopped at the Art Institute to see the Thorne rooms before leaving the city…a favorite to see…and just spent time together which I know she loved. I will miss our chats for sure! Heather

I didn’t know Sheryl well, as I met her through our husband’s not too long ago. I immediately knew that this girl was someone I could be great friends with; a warm, personable, loving lady who I wish I knew longer. She and David just moved near us in Vernon Hills. So sorry for the great loss!

My heart is heavy and sad at this moment. Sheryl and I always said even if we weren’t already family we would have still been best friends. As adults we were always calling each other sharing stories about our families and friends. Just a day before she left us we were having one of our very long phone calls reminiscing about all the summer we spent together in Chicago as children. Sheryl was always pushing her mother’s buttons. We would take a bus to the movie theater, not so much to watch the movies, but to buy make-up from the machines in the theater restroom. Then she would take me to a local store to purchase teen magazines. I thought nothing about it until we got home and I was asked to hide all of our stuff under my bed. Of course Aunt Harriet would always find out what we did. There are so many stories with wonderful memories. As we got older, our boyfriends and eventually our husband’s were our main topics. Sheryl was always loving and thinking of others. She loved David with her whole heart & soul. Her children and grandchildren were her pride & joy and always loved sharing with me about their visits. I will miss you and our conversations Cous!

I was truly an honor to have met Sheryl . It started as a business transaction, but we talked for hours. She showed me all her dolls, and photos and I learned how artistic she was. She talked about her sons and how much she loved them. She would brag about how Joe is so artistic and talented with what he does. She would say how he just gets in his zone when doing hair. She was kind, always thanking me for helping. I’m so very sorry for the family. My condolences to all. I know she will be deeply missed. Fly high sweet angel., may you rest in peace
