Pearl Hirsch, nee Langner, 96. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth (Kievie); devoted mother of Larry (Andrea) Hirsch, Deedie (Irwin) Gold, Nathan (Alice) Hirsch, and Carol Hirsch; cherished grandmother of Talia (Yehoshua) Gruntstein, Efrat (Uri) Danziger, Shimon (Meira) Hirsch, Noga (Mor) Basan, Yehoshua (Sarit) Hirsch, Shira Hirsch, Tamar (Ariel) Campbell, Leah Gold, Jonathan (Hannah) Hirsch, Shlomit (Jeremy) Eyers, and Shari Hirsch; proud great-grandmother of 32. The adored daughter of the late Rabbi Abraham and the late Regina Langner; loving sister of Toby Willner, Annette Cooper, the late Gittle Saks and Esther Perl; dear aunt, cousin, and friend of many. Pearl was an inspiration to us all at Drake Manor. Her stories, sense of humor and her love of song and dance. Every morning she would greet us all with “Howdy Doody”!. I am going to miss you Pearl but have so many good memories.

I have known Pearl for many years as a member of Skokie Valley and more recently Skokie Central. A real fine woman she was with a lot ofspunk and energy. She will be missed by all. My deepest sympathy to the Hirsch family and all of the other relatives.
