Dear Georganne, my deepest condolences to you and your entire family. Jim was always friendly, and lent a kind, skillful, and helping hand at the bridge table. May you find comfort in the many blessed memories you shared.

Jane and I find it difficult to believe that Jim has passed. I feel fortunate that Jim was my college roommate and that he continued to be a good friend throughout the years. We will miss Jim and his many humorous emails. Georgeann, we are so sorry for your loss.

I have had the pleasure of playing at Jim’s bridge table several times over the years. He was always pleasant, and a very good player. What I will always remember is a shirt he wore once that said, “Life is a game. Bridge is serious”. I have told (and will continue to tell) many players how that is the funniest bridge t-shirt that I have ever seen.
Sorry to hear of this loss.
