Mr Wes used to come twice daily in the cafe on his 4 day weekend. We see him almost every month and we always looked forward to seeing him because he tells us when he will be back. He has been coming for lattes for as long as we remember. But since August of 2024 he switched to chocolate milkshake. He said he need to gain his weight back. Milkshake is actually not part of our menu, we only make it from ingredients we have available and he still said it is the best. Everyone knows to make his milkshake as soon as we see him. He may not smile a lot but we know he is a very kind person through his words. After his visit in October 2024, we never saw him again. I searched his name on obituary hoping nothing will appear, I found this. I had to let the team know. We were all saddened by his passing.
On behalf of our team,
Thank you Mr Wes for making us feel we did great because you kept coming back for milkshakes. We will miss making them. May you rest well and in peace.

My wife & I originally met Wes at the Wynn craps tables about 4 years ago. About 20 months ago we arranged our schedules to come
on the same days each month so began a close friendship.
Everyone new Wes at the Wynn & I felt special everywhere we went. He was very very generous man with his time & money.
Estella & I will miss him very much.
RIP my friend

The best friend a person could ever have. When my sister was in the hospital last year with a heart attack, he called me everyday to check on her progress. He was such a kind and caring person. and always gave good advice. We will miss him ! He was such a special person his memory will always live on in the hearts of those who knew him and will never be forgotten. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Very sorry to hear that Wes passed. I first met Wes at Mather HS. He was the star athlete and as the Sports Editor of the School newspaper, I could always could get a great quote from Wes. Years later, Wes was in charge of the Sports Dept at Bernard Norwich Center and as a part time job I umpired JCC baseball games. Coincidentally, I later married Shelly, Wes’s younger sister, We spent a lot time at racetrack. Your husband was quite guy and I’m glad I got to know him. Paul

Wes & I went to Mather H.S. together. I remember Wes as a gifted athlete and a great guy. After 50 years, I was happy to see Wes at our 50th reunion in 2017 and enjoyed the time we spent that evening catching up. May his memory be a blessing.
