Ruth Mackler nee Hennig, 93, beloved wife of the late Dr. Hyman Mackler; loving mother of Rabbi Aaron (Lorraine) Mackler, David Mackler, and the late Rebecca Mackler; cherished Savta of Hannah (Mike), Joel, Daniel (Yaelle), and Ethan; adored great grandmother of Haley and Sam; devoted daughter of the late Isabel and Norman Hennig; dear sister of the late Harriet; treasured aunt, cousin and friend of many. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Chapel service Monday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Mom was my friend, a sincere lady who always had a smile even when David was pushing her . My daughter, Jill and Aaron went to beginning Hebrew School together. My family mourns your mother’s death. We send deepest condolences.
