Michael Phillip “Mike” Miller, age 83, of Evanston, passed away December 25, 2024 at Citadel of Skokie.

He was born March 22nd, 1941 in Chicago (where he resided his entire life), the son of Harry and Rose (Kaplan) Miller.

He was a fan of many Chicago sports teams, especially the Cubs and enjoyed watching college football, particularly rooting for the Northwestern Wildcats. He loved to travel both domestically and internationally and enjoyed sampling new cuisines. Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and son and cherished his time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Gail (Farber); daughters Kimberly Miller and Laura (Miller) Guttman and son-in-law Michael Guttman; grandchildren Alyssa Guttman and Russell Guttman; brother and sister-in-law Alan and Ann Miller; sister-in-law and brother-In-law Linda and Alan Efrussy; and nephews Ken Miller (Anne) and Joel Efrussy (Jasmine) and nieces Sheri Lurie (Steve), Paula Miller (Ed), and Jill (Efrussy) Sour (Chad Sour).
