I remember Randi from being our neighbor in Des Plaines. Growing up, she spent time in my backyard, and pool.. She always had a smile on her face and a unique sweetness about her. She was a gentle soul who cared about others. May her memory be a blessing.

I hadn’t seen Randi in over three decades but that does not take away from the deep sadness I feel. I grew up two houses down from the Halen family and the time I spent growing up in Des Plaines was even better because of the friendship our families shared. I have so many otherwise “normal childhood memories” that I don’t ever want to take for granted in light of Randi’s passing. My deepest condolences to Jeff and the rest of Randi’s family and friends. Love always, Marc Milstein and family

My condolences to Randi’s family and friends. Randi was my across the hall neighbor when I first moved to Illinois. She was the sweetest, friendliest and most caring person. I felt extremely lucky to count her as my friend. She will be missed by so many.

I immigrated to the United States from Poland in 1980 and Randi was one of the first smiling faces I was fortunate enough to find in school. Randi was the most sweetest, friendliest, caring individual I have known. We also went to high school together. Randi was a special person. The world has lost someone great. May she rest in eternal peace & her memory be eternal.

I remember Randi from high school, she was very kind. This is shocking news and she is gone too soon. May she rest in peace. God bless you and your family!

I’m writing this with a heavy heart.
Even though we never met in person, our connection meant the world to me. It was an honor to offer advice, share support, and be there for you. Through our conversations about MS and everything else, I felt like we truly understood each other in a way that only people going through something similar can.
I hope that, in some way, the words and support I gave you helped lighten your load, even for a moment. I’ll carry the memories of our chats and the bond we shared with me always. You were so strong, and I’ll never forget you.
Rest peacefully, my friend. You’ll always have a place in my heart.

Randi was the most sweetest, friendliest, caring individual I have known. I went to high school with Randi and hung out with her outside of school on many occasions with friends. Rest in Peace Randi.

I met Randi recently at a brunch I immediately sensed she was sweet and special although our time chatting was brief she left a mark on my heart we had made plans to meet up again but it was not meant to be.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathies during this difficult time.
